“Ghost Dance” is my first and, to date, only attempt at assemblage. Our artists’ group brought an array of cigar boxes and various materials to share for our assemblage class. Using a Native American figurine and a tiny dream catcher that my mom had given me, along with reproduction arrowheads that I already had, I decided to focus on that theme. I painted the image with the teepees and made the paper underneath. I found the bone on the lake shore. It was an enjoyable and rewarding project!
